Dr. Hilmert will be giving a talk in conjunction with the NDSU honors program on the topic of eye-witness testimonies and line-ups, including the legality, reliability, and what bystanders may be able to do better.
This event will highlight current challenges in law enforcement, and the role of community to help with solutions.
Additionally, Criminal Defense Lawyer Bruce Quick will be presenting drug sniffing dogs and road blocks, and Moorhead Detective Shawn Krebsbach will discuss cold cases, forensic failures, and community action.
